The words edition of the Large Print Songbook is used extensively in hospitals, senior citizens clubs, recreation and rehabilitation centres and schools, giving great enjoyment and often therapeutic benefit to all concerned. Howver, its use was limited by the fact that music for many of the books was difficult to obtain. Various Music Therapy Associations felt that a companion volume of music was required.
Simplified piano accompaniments have been arranged for the songs, with chords for guitar and auto harp.
