Jack Russell Puppet

This little Jack Russell has cheekiness written all over him. Imagine the mischief he could get up to at your nursing home with the residents?!

Why use puppetry in your nursing home?

Puppetry has long been thought to have a positive impact on people living with dementia. It is reported that it helps residents to increase their communication, to enhance relationships and stimulate social interactions (among other benefits). But always remember, individuals may respond differently to puppetry. We love this saying:

"When you’ve met one person with dementia, you’ve met one person with dementia". Professor Tom Kitwood

Try it yourself and make sure you report back to us. We'd love to hear how puppets help your residents.
