Memory Lane 1940s - Large Print Book

This 32-page book is aimed at patients with early-stage dementia who like reading but find it hard to follow more complex books.

It has short paragraphs that are easy to follow. There are lots of photographs to enjoy and reminisce over. Many great conversations with relatives or carers can be prompted with a quick flick through the pages.

Best of all the book does not mention dementia, memory loss, or anything that could cause distress or embarrassment to patients.

This book can equally be enjoyed by those without memory loss. Grandparents can read it to their grandchildren to help them learn about the olden days or they might just enjoy reading it themself.

1940's Memory Lane

Whilst the book does serve the purpose of evoking memories I think it is more suited to early Dementia more so to full on Dementia. I would like to see a picture book with large coloured plates and larger point printing I think that would bring smiles to a lot of faces.
